Yemeni army slaps Houthi militia, inflicts heavy losses
Iranian-backed Houthi militias continue to
receive slaps day after day, from the Yemeni army forces backed by the popular
resistance in the western coast and Hodeidah, as the joint forces launched
attacks on three fronts at one time, during which the terrorist militia
incurred dozens of dead and wounded, as well as destroying equipment and
seizures on weapons.
The Yemeni forces managed to liberate the
Qaisin area of the Khub and Al-Sha`f district north of Al-Jawf governorate,
northeast of the country.
In spite of the terrorist militia's attempts
to return its remnants in Al-Husayniyah farms in the Directorate of Beit
Al-Faqih, south of Al-Hodeidah, and to push dozens of its elements to new
tunnels and bunkers in farms east of the strategic Al-Jah region, the
reconnaissance units in the joint forces monitored the gatherings of
infiltrators and their armories as soon as they were armed, and quickly they
were destroyed by direct strikes by the combined forces stationed in those
locations.
According to media reports, the legal forces
supported by the tribes continued their advance in the Hub and Al Sha`f Front,
seizing 6 military vehicles and ten crews, four-wheel drive vehicles and
weapons, and more than 16 were captured in the opposite attack they launched against
the militia.
In the Qaniya Front in Al-Bayda Governorate,
the militia incurred heavy losses of life and equipment at the hands of the
army forces supported by the tribes, and the militia leader was captured in the
front, and holds the rank of major general, called Hamza Saleh Al-Wehbi.
Reports said that the fighting between the two
sides reached a direct confrontation, face to face, in Masouda Mountain, where
the army forces recovered all the sites that were in the hands of the Houthi
militia.
In the “Sarwah Front” west of Ma'rib
Governorate, specifically in Helan and Al-Muja`f, violent confrontations took
place between the militia and the army, with the support of coalition fighters,
as the army forces managed to drive the militia out of the locations where it
had advanced during the past two days, most notably Al-Shafi’i and Al-Khattab,
and more twenty militia elements were killed during Thursday's fighting.
The media center of the Yemeni Armed Forces
released a video of the joint forces after they were defeated by the coup
militia in Qaniya Front, north of Al Bayda Governorate, in the center of the
country.
The center pointed out that the battles are
continuing on the fronts of Sarwah, Al-Mukhdarah and Qaniyah, amid the retreat
of the Houthi militia and collapses in its ranks, according to the official
website of the Yemeni army.
He stressed that the battles coincided with
intense shelling of the army's artillery, and raids of the fighters of the
Alliance for Legitimacy Support on the positions and reinforcements of the
Houthi militia, which resulted in heavy losses of life and equipment.
Another clip was published on the fierce
battles the joint forces are fighting against the Houthi militia in the Sarwah
front, west of Marib Governorate.
The Commander of the "117th Infantry
Brigade" Brigadier General Ahmed Hussein al-Naqah said that the National
Army forces managed to liberate the sites of "Tabab, Al-Soud",
"Al-Makhbi" and "Al-Khirba", in the Al-Yisabel area of
the Qaniya Front, stressing the continuation of the battle amid the advance
of the army forces and the collapse of the militia Houthi escaping.
In response to these defeats, the Houthi coup
militia targeted the indiscriminate shelling of the citizens’ homes in the
villages of Qaniya in the Al-Bayda Governorate, wounding two children with
various injuries.
In a parallel context, the terrorist militia
continues to prevent thousands of residents from returning to their areas under
their control, after they were left in the open, including patients, children
and women, under the pretext of quarantine, amid reports that the militia
requested funds from the detainees to release them.
Despite calls by organizations and activists
to end the suffering of thousands of returning travelers from abroad, or from
areas controlled by Sharia, and the health authorities’ assertion that all
returnees from abroad were subjected to medical tests, confirmed that there was
no infection with the Corona virus, the Houthi militia continues to humiliate
travelers, even those coming from the provinces that are under the jurisdiction
of the legitimate government.
Travelers across Lahj governorate stated that
dozens of cars and passenger buses are still being held in a valley near the
Haifan district, on the borders of Taiz Governorate, where the Houthi militia
blocked the road, prevented people from passing, and left them sleeping on the
land or sitting in buses and cars, without any food or water, as travelers have
to go to nearby villages, to obtain food or water.
The militia continues to detain hundreds of
travelers in Al-Bayda governorate, most of whom are returning from Umrah, as it
has rented a popular, poorly furnished break and services and forced travelers
to stay there, and has only given them small sponges.
