Cairo- April 6, 2018, group of staff member of the
pro-Muslim Brotherhood TV channel “al-sharq” –broadcasted from Turkey- expenses the group leaders after they hold a sit-in in the channel’s headquarter.
The Turkish police interacted with this sit-in,
Mohamed Tolba a fired anchor said that “Ayman Nour, the head of board of the
channel exploits youth need for job and prevent them from their salaries and
their financial dues.
Those groups of staff faired from their positions
after they demanded their rights, and organized a sit-in, leading the police to
arrest them. Mohamed Tolba posted in his facebook page “Nour bring thugs to
prevent the youth from entering the channel”.
The brotherhood leader Hitham Abo Khalal declared in
a statement “this crisis must be ended with negotiation not with police
officers and preventing stuff from entering the channel”.
Hitham Abo Khalal said that Nour threatened workers
that he was going to shut the channel down in an attempt to force them into
accepting the decisions he had recently announced. Around 60 workers refused
the decisions.
He added that Nour convinced the Brotherhood to
support him in the Sharq crisis just to preserve his image before Qatari
sponsors.
