As the death toll from a series of earthquakes in Syria's Idlib province continues to rise, local residents are growing increasingly desperate for aid and assistance. Despite appeals for help, many in the war-torn region feel that they have been left to suffer while political games are being played by those in power.

According to The Times, residents of Idlib province have expressed frustration with the lack of support they have received in the wake of the earthquakes. With limited access to food, water, and medical supplies, many feel that their needs are being ignored as political leaders argue and maneuver.

One local resident, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated: "We wait for help, but Erdogan is playing a game. He says he wants to help us, but we see no evidence of that. All we see is more bombs and more death." The resident went on to describe the dire living conditions in the affected areas, including widespread destruction and a lack of basic necessities.

The situation in Idlib province is complicated by the ongoing conflict in Syria, which has made it difficult for aid organizations to access the affected areas. Despite these challenges, however, the international community has been called upon to do more to support the people in need.

As the death toll continues to rise and the situation grows more dire, it is clear that the people of Idlib province cannot wait any longer for assistance. The international community must come together to provide the necessary aid and support, regardless of political considerations. Only through a coordinated effort can we hope to bring some measure of relief to those affected by this disaster.
