The spirit of resistance against the international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood is almost absent in Europe, Ali says
· The
Brotherhood has reorganized itself on the old continent, and the danger is
approaching.
· Close
ties connect the organization to terrorist networks in Latin America.
In its latest weekly issue released on Thursday, June
29th, the renowned French magazine "Valeur Actuel" conducted an
interview with journalist Abdel Rahim Ali, Chairman of the Board and
Editor-in-Chief of "Al-Bawaba News" and President of the Center for
Middle East Studies in Paris (CEMO). The interview was featured on the cover of
the esteemed French magazine under the title, "Fake Brotherhood and Real
Islamists: Revealing the Network Woven by the Organization in Europe."
During the interview, Abdel Rahim Ali warned about the
danger of the absence of resistance to Islamic extremism in Europe. In response
to a question posed by the magazine regarding whether Western countries and
their leaders are passive or complicit in confronting the threat of the Muslim
Brotherhood, Ali stated that instead of waging a war against the international
organization, its associations, and companies, European governments have
allowed certain political elites, especially from the Green and Democratic
Socialist parties, to enhance the organization's presence on the continent.
"I regret to inform you that if the Muslim
Brotherhood's project of expansion continues, we risk seeing Islamists from the
fourth or fifth generation enter the halls of power in more than one European
country within a decade, perhaps starting with France," Ali added. He
further emphasized that it would be beneficial to learn from the lessons Egypt
has learned, as it was the primary target of the Muslim Brotherhood and
suffered greatly from it. The only solution is to dismantle this group, expose
its plans, and dry up its sources of funding. In short, a comprehensive war
must be declared to stop its spread.
Ali warned that Europe has now become a continent that
harbors and provides refuge for these groups and currents, which carry an
unlimited project of infiltrating the entire European society. The economic
partnership value between Brotherhood-affiliated companies and major companies
in the European Union amounts to approximately 33 billion euros, in addition to
the strong relationships between the organization and decision-making circles
in Brussels. The goal behind all of this is to infiltrate European societies by
weaving a wide network of relationships through mosques, cultural centers, and
"charitable" associations that seek to Islamize the continent in the
Brotherhood's manner.
Ali confirmed that the Muslim Brotherhood leaders
realized that they could no longer survive in the Middle East and sought safe
havens to transfer the centers of influence and primary activities of the
Brotherhood. They chose countries in Latin America, especially Brazil,
Argentina, and Paraguay, to transfer their economic and financial weight,
benefiting from the local presence of affiliated associations and their assets,
including lands. This was activated through social and cultural institutions,
schools, and local worship centers.
Politically, the center of gravity has been shifted to
Sweden and its capital Stockholm. To ensure sustainable sources of funding,
Brotherhood leaders began establishing investment funds with capital including
donations from Gulf businessmen. Later, they turned to arms and drug trade
under the cover of Islamic institutions. They also resorted to money laundering
methods and offshore companies. In the second half of the twentieth century,
the organization multiplied its projects in this field, especially in the
Caribbean and Latin America, which have become strongholds for terrorist
elements.
Ali emphasized that the strategy that has protected the
organization so far from collapse and contributed to its expansion and spread
across various parts of the world is transforming its centralized and
hierarchical structure into a system of independent and interconnected
networks, like a multi-armed and autonomous octopus. This is done to increase
its ability to confront any confrontation with a single country or an alliance
of several countries in any part of the world without announcing the complete
collapse of the organization. It is in this aspect that their real danger lies.
