Terrorism hidden face of globalization, says Labeviere

CAIRO –International terrorism expert Richard Labeviere described Thursday terrorism as the “hidden face” of globalization.
He added at a seminar on the financing of terrorist organizations in French capital Paris that the financing of terrorism was a real challenge facing the world.
Labeviere said he had participated in a large number of conferences on terrorism since the 9/11 attacks in Washington and New York.
He said UN resolutions could do nothing to put an end to the financing of terrorism the world over.
The seminar is organized by the Center for Middle East Studies. It is held simultaneously with an international conference in the French capital on the financing of terrorism. French President Emmanuel Macron is attending the international conference.
