NATO Commander discusses in Pakistan Afghan reconciliation

The Pakistani army said on Friday that General Scott
Miller, the Commander of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and US
forces in Afghanistan, met with General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the Commander of the
Pakistani army at the army headquarters in the city 'Rawalpindi' Pakistan,
where they discussed Afghan reconciliation.
Tolo Channel quoted a statement by the Pakistani
army as saying that Miller and Bajwa agreed on views on the importance of
political solution to the Afghan situation.
they stressed that a comprehensive process led by
Afghans can alone lead to peace in Afghanistan.
The two leaders reaffirmed the need to continue
coordinated efforts to effectively combat terrorists and border management, the
statement added.
