Arab Coalition targets Houthi drone warehouses in Yemen
The Arab Coalition for the Support of Legitimacy in Yemen
has directed painful blows to the Houthi terrorist militia. The coalition
targeted the stores of weapons, missiles and stores of drones.
The coalition spokesman, Colonel Turki al-Maliki, announced
that seven military facilities belonging to the Houthis in Sanaa were targeted
on Saturday evening, pointing out that the raids targeted warehouses used for
storing aerial drones and launching terrorist activities, as well as Houthi training
facilities for carrying out terrorist operations. He added that the raids came
after a delicate intelligence operation that including monitoring Houthi
terrorists and communications systems.
Maliki stressed the commitment of the joint forces command to
apply international humanitarian law in all military operations, as well as to
continue preventing the Houthis’ capabilities threatening regional and
international security.
Meanwhile, the Houthi-affiliated al-Masirah TV channel
revealed that coalition aircraft targeted a factory in the area of Wadi Ahmed
north of the capital Sanaa, as well as targeting the September 21 Park in the
district of Ma’ain and the 1st Armored Division in Sanaa.
Al-Arabiya sources revealed that the coalition raids
targeted the headquarters of the Revolutionary Guards and Hezbollah in Sanaa, al-Dulaimi
air base, the al-Hafa militant camp, and the Nahdeen camp at the presidential
palace in Sanaa.
Six members of the Yemeni army were killed and 31 wounded on
Thursday, January 10 when the Houthi militia targeted a military parade at
al-Anad air base in northern Lahij governorate with a drone.
Electronic war stations
Yemeni military expert Colonel Yahya Abu Hatem said that the
coalition strikes were accurate and successful, adding that militant areas were
targeted, especially drone factories and launching stations that were used by
the Houthis in terrorist attacks against the Yemeni army and Arab coalition.
According to Abu Hatem, the Houthis worked for three months
on installing electronic war stations in the mountains of Raymah, Mahweet,
Hajjah and Sanaa, and they are working at a similar pace to maximize their
military capabilities, including digging tunnels Sanaa and Hodeidah and equipping
themselves with aircraft and experts.
Abu Hatem said that there are many Iranian experts training
Houthis in fighting, digging tunnels, using drones, and electronic warfare,
confirming the importance of the coalition’s strike. He added that he expects
more Houthi facilities to be targeted in the coming days, pointing out that the
military determination is currently the decisive factor in dealing with the terrorist
militia.
