Yemen's Hudaydah's liberation nearing with UAE support
CAIRO – A major military operation has already started for the liberation of Yemen's eastern city of al-Hudaydah with support from the military of the United Arab Emirates.
Resistance and legitimacy troops have already stared marching towards the city to free it from the Houthi rebels who have been controlling it for several months now
The operation comes at a time the Iran-backed Houthis are sustaining major defeats and losses.
Military experts expect the liberation of al-Hudaydah to be the beginning of the end for the Houthis in Yemen.
This is particularly true, they said, after the downfall of a large number of Houthi strongholds in the restive Arab state.
Cracks started to show up within Houthi ranks after the killing of leading Houthi figure Saleh al-Samad.
Arab Coalition troops are, meanwhile, close to retaking Saada, west of Yemeni capital Sanaa, from the Houthis.
The Arab Coalition scored major victories on Yemen's western coast in the past few days.
