Saudi Arabia hosts int'l conference on innovation's impact on libraries

King Abdulaziz Library, in collaboration with the
Islamic University of Madinah, will organize an international conference on
Monday, titled 'Innovation and renewal trends in libraries' at King Salman
International Convention Center in Madinah.
The three-day event is set to bring more than 75
speakers and experts from Egypt, Pakistan, Singapore, Cameroon, UAE, Bahrain,
Oman, Lebanon, Jordan, Sudan, Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia as well as Saudi
academics, the Saudi Embassy in Cairo said in a statement Sunday.
The participants will address the impact of
innovation on libraries, its role in boosting the libraries' competitive
advantage, challenges faced by the libraries, and innovative services to be
offered by the libraries.
