Maait to Al-Bawaba News.. The green transformation needs huge funds

Egyptian Finance Minister Dr.
Mohamed Maait said in statements to Al-Bawaba News that Africa is affected by
emissions and climate change, and the idea of green transformation,
sustainability and carbon reduction needs huge funds.
Maait indicated that agreements
and promises in previous summits were not adhered to, and for COP27, too,
economic conditions weigh heavily on the shoulders of countries. There is a
rise in inflation and a rise in the cost of financing and basic needs.
Therefore, today, we are trying to find possible ways to reduce the cost of
financing and help other countries.
