Croatian PM calls for action in migration to European Union

Croatian Prime Minister
Andrej Plenković in Munich called for action to
better manage the migration file in the European Union.
Plenković made the statements on the sidelines of the Munich
Security Conference held in Munich.
Plenković added that there is a need to increase monitoring at
the present time, to establish an early warning system and to work more
harmoniously among member states
Plenković stressed that there is also a need to remove the
complexities of the asylum system so that decisions can be taken quickly.
He pointed
out that his country, which currently holds the presidency of the Council of
the European Union, will spare no effort to support the aspirations of the
European Union Commission in immigration policy.
