The Future as well as the Democracy and Progress parties are two new parties that come to light in Turkey, from the womb of the Justice and Development Party, after two of its most important pillars, Ahmed Davutoglu, the former Prime Minister of Turkey, and Ali Babacan, the former Minister of Economy, defected against the president's monopoly. This came in rejection of Turkish Recep Tayyip Erdogan, power, and tampering with the country's policies for the sake of personal interest.

Missing momentum

The Future and Progress party did not depart with the required momentum. When we look at the list of founding members of the Future Party, we note that Davutoglu did not succeed in including high-caliber politicians in the political arena, or against the AKP cadres, with the exception of one or two persons.

Davutoglu failed to attract important people in the Justice and Development Party (AKP) as they were disaffected by Erdogan and his poor administration style.

The founding list of the Party for Democracy and Progress included 90 names, including 27 women, and 16 new faces, and also included a person born in 1999. The youngest of the names included most notably Mustafa Yanaroglu, a parliamentarian who resigned from the Justice and Development Party, Nihad Arjun, Former Industry Minister, Saad Allah Arjeen, former Minister of Justice, Salma Kouwaf, former Minister of Women, and Ahmed Adib Ugur, former Governor of the city of Balikesir, Elif Aisen, a former advisor to the Presidency, while absent persons who were expected to be among the founders, are forMer President of the Constitutional Court Hashem Klj.

Increased anger and a waiting alliance

Although the Future and the Democracy and Progress parties did not produce the required momentum, they are able to reverse the political equation in Turkey, especially since the indicators point to the end of Erdogan's political end, as evidence of the Justice and Development Party’s loss of major municipalities in Turkey.

Anger is increasing in Turkey because of the new presidential system in Turkey, which gave Erdogan unlimited powers, enabling him to take whatever decisions he wants, such as dismissing the governor of the central bank, although he has independent powers, which weakened the popularity of the Justice and Development Party, and certainly will lead to the end of this tragic era.
