State of alert declared in Libya after Daesh attack

The Ministry of Interior of Libya's Government of
National Accord has declared a state of alert in the wake of Daesh attack on a
security checkpoint in the city of Zliten.
In a statement broadcast by Al Arabiya news channel,
the ministry urged citizens to cooperate with security forces and report any
violation with the aim of unifying efforts to combat terrorism.
The attack has left at least seven personnel dead
and five others wounded.
