CEMO: Erdogan exploits Covid-19 to smuggle illegal immigrants to Italy

Dr. Abdel-Rahim Ali,
Egypt’s MP and chairman of the Center for Middle East Studies in Paris (CEMO),
confirmed that Recep Tayyip Erdogan exploits Coronavirus, to smuggle a large
number of illegal immigrants through boats to Italy.
In a statement, Ali
said that one of the illegal immigrants posted video documenting smuggling
migrants from Turkey to the Italian coasts.
Ali added that the
Turkish territories still represent a preferred platform for smuggling gangs.
It should be noted that
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had recently announced that his country
intends to resettle a million refugees in northern Syria and that it may reopen
the path for migrants to Europe unless it receives appropriate international
support for the plan.
An estimated "six
billion euros" in the past few years, within the framework of an agreement
between Europe and Turkey to combat illegal immigration.
The number of illegal
immigrants decreased sharply after the European Union and Ankara implemented an
agreement in March 2016 to stop the influx of refugees. However, there has
recently been an increase in the number of migrants from Turkey, which confirms
the existence of a hidden intention by the Turkish regime to extort financially
the European state through the illegal immigration paper.
