Spokesman for the Saudi-led Arab coalition Colonel
Turki al Maliki on Tuesday said that Saudi Air Defense forces intercepted a
ballistic missile that was fired by Iranian-backed Houthi militants from Yemen
against Saudi territories.
In a released statement, he added that the rocket
was fired from Imran governorate in Yemen targeting the city of Najran.
The missile was completely destroyed, he said,
adding that no injuries or damage were reported.
This hostile act proves that the Iranian regime is
involved in supplying Houthi terrorists with up-to-date weapons, he added.
