Qatar Charity working to spread Muslim Brotherhood ideology in Italy
The Qatari regime uses all state institutions in Qatar to spread the thinking of the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe. Qatar Charity played a basic role in this regard.
This
Qatari organization offered financing for political Islamist movements in
Europe under the cloak of charity.
Italy
was not immune from this policy. Qatar Charity founded a large number of
Islamic centers in this European state, all with the aim of spreading the
thinking of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The
charity offered backing to some Islamic institutions and federations in Milano
to serve this goal.
The
French journalists Christian Chesnot and Georges
Malbrunot threw light on the role the charity is playing in Italy in their
book, "Qatar Papers", which was came out in April 2019.
The
two journalists revealed that the charity had financed 113 projects for the
construction of mosques and Islamic centers in France, Italy, Germany,
Switzerland, Britain, Kosovo, and Belgium in 2014.
The
charity, they said, specified 71 million Euros to this objective.
On
April 3, 2019, the Union of Islamic Communities in Italy unveiled a new
financing package by Qatar Charity.
Union
President, Yassine Lafram, compared the financing Qatar Charity offers his
union with the volume of trade between Qatar and Italy.
This
financing, he said, is like a drop in the sea of trade between the two
countries.
A
documentary by the French and German language channel, RT, showed in November
2019 that Qatar Charity funds a number of organizations whose ideologies move
hand in hand with this of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The
documentary showed that Italy is the European country targeted the most by the
Muslim Brotherhood.
The
Brotherhood, the documentary said, implements 47 projects in Italy, with
funding as much as 25 million Euros.
It
said all this funding comes from Qatar Charity.
