Libyan tribes: Spear in chest of Erdogan and his thugs

Widespread anger has permeated throughout Libya’s tribes due
to Turkey’s interference wreaking havoc on Libya. The tribal leaders have
therefore have completely lined up behind the Libyan National Army (LNA) led by
Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar to face the ambitions of Turkish President Recep
Tayyip Erdogan and the barbarity of his mercenaries.
The head of Libya’s Supreme Tribal Council, Saleh Al-Fandi,
and his deputy, Sheikh Al-Senussi al-Haliq, affirmed the council's rejection of
Turkey’s interference in the country and urged the Libyan people to stand by
the LNA in the face of Ankara’s ambitions.
"The tribes will defend Libya with full force, and they
have nearly a million citizens who are ready and trained to take up arms to
push them to the battlefields in the face of Erdogan's gangs," Fandi said,
adding that the Libyan people are fed up with the mercenaries’ activities.
Meanwhile, Abdul Karim al-Orfi, the official spokesman for
the Supreme Tribal Council, announced the preparation of lists of young
volunteers to be trained and armed.
All the tribes have opened the door for young people to
volunteer to fight against the Turkish colonialists who are greedy for their
country's wealth and resources, Orfi said, adding that each tribe has prepared
a list of names of young people who would be trained and armed in coordination
between the LNA and Egypt.
Orfi stressed that the tribes will not allow the Brotherhood
to plunder Libya's wealth and will stand in the way of Erdogan's ambitions and
dreams of controlling their land.
According to the Turkish opposition newspaper Zaman, Erdogan
has bypassed all the political and social rights of the Libyan tribes and
people in terms of stability and security by means of his mercenaries and
soldiers.
The newspaper said that the militias have violated the
sanctity of Libyan homes, and had it not been for the tribesmen to confront
them, the violations would have affected women. In addition, the mercenaries
have tried to seize many lands in order to settle there, but their attempts
failed after they were confronted by tribesmen.
Libyan political analyst Magdy Ismail told the Reference
that arming the Libyan tribes will form a strong army to support the LNA and
fight Turkey's militias and the Government of National Accord (GNA). He pointed
out that the tribes have had enough of Ankara’s provocations. Erdogan has
repeatedly tried to recruit members of the tribes to work for the Turkish
agenda, but his attempt failed miserably as a result of the tribes’ commitment
to the stability and security of their homeland.
