Iraq to deploy troops on borders with Turkey

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi ordered on Sunday to
deploy guards along the border between Iraq and Turkey.
The decision was made during a meeting of the National Security
Council, local media quoted Abadi's office as saying in a statement.
It aims to protect the border areas and prevent any
violations, the statement added.
The ministerial council also instructed the foreign ministry
to submit a document on the Turkish violations of the Iraqi airspace to the
United Nations, it noted.
