Know more about Turkey's gas discoveries: thay all in the same place, all of them are “fake news”

The announcement of the Turkish President Erdogan
regarding the discovery of natural gas in the Black Sea caused a sensation in
the Turkish street, especially before the presidential elections in 2023, which
drew attention about the announcement of this discovery at this particular
time.
This discovery was not the first that Erdogan
announced, if it was preceded by several other discoveries, all of them turned
out to be false, namely:
1- 9 September 2004, the announcement of the
discovery of gas fields in the Black Sea, and that gas will be transferred from
the sea to the land by the end of the year.
2- May 15, 2009, the announcement of the discovery
of natural gas fields near the shores of the city of Akçakoga in the Black Sea.
3- 17 June 2010, the announcement of the discovery
of a natural gas field in the western Black Sea, at a depth of 1600 meters.
4- 25 August 2012, the announcement of the
discovery of large quantities of petroleum in the vicinity of the
Kurdish-majority city of Hakkari.
5- 29 June 2020, Announcing the discovery of
natural gas in Akçakoga, and the ability to discover natural gas reserves.
