Sarraj pushes Tripoli terrorists to occupy positions in Libya
As part of continuous efforts to manipulate the lives and
interests of Libyans, along with the plots of Turkish President Recep Erdogan
to favor Turkey at the expense of Libya and its people, Government of National
Accord (GNA) head Fayez Al-Sarraj issued a decision assigning Mohammad Baayo,
the former head of the General Press Authority, to the position of head of the
Libyan Media Foundation.
Sarraj also assigned terrorist public security militia
commander Imad Trabelsi to the position of deputy head of the Libyan
intelligence service, according to Resolution 595 of 2020.
He also issued a decree assigning Lotfi Belkacem al-Harari
as deputy head of the Internal Security Agency. Harari is an assistant to the
commander of the Force of Deterrence and Rapid Intervention militia, Abdel
Ghani al-Kikli, aka Ghenewa, and they both were involved in shedding the blood
of Libyans.
In a related context, Morocco hosted negotiations between
the delegations of the Tobruk-based parliament and the Supreme Council of the
Brotherhood in Bouznika, northern Morocco, with the aim of resolving the Libyan
crisis peacefully away from foreign and military interventions. The meeting’s
closing statement said that the parties reached a comprehensive agreement on
the criteria and transparent and objective mechanisms to assume the sovereign
positions in Libya.
The statement noted that both parties agreed to resume the
meeting in the last week of this month in order to complete the necessary
procedures and activate the agreement.
It also called on the United Nations and the international
community to support Morocco's efforts to create the proper conditions to reach
a comprehensive political settlement to the Libyan crisis.
The statement added that the parties are aware that the
country has reached a dangerous situation that threatens the integrity of the
state, territory and sovereignty as a result of negative foreign interventions
that fuel wars along regional and ideological alignments.
The parties indicated their awareness of the seriousness of
the repercussions resulting from the political and institutional divisions that
have resulted in the loss of the citizenry's confidence in legislative,
executive and supervisory institutions, in addition to the poor living
conditions in all walks of life.
The statement noted that the meeting took place in a
friendly and fraternal atmosphere dominated by understanding and consensus. It came
in implementation of Article 15 of the Skhirat Agreement and confirmed the results
of the Berlin Summit in support a political solution and based on the relevant
Security Council resolutions.
The parties expressed their thanks to the Kingdom of Morocco
for its continuous support and efforts to support peace and stability in Libya,
affirming their confidence in Morocco's neutral and impartial position, which
provided the appropriate climate to start dialogue on the crisis to try to
reach a solution.
