New form of terrorism by Iranian regime

The Iranian opposition
has been gripped by fears of being crack down by the regime in the wake of the
military parade attack that killed 28 military personnel, including soldiers of
the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Chairperson of the
Executive Committee of Restoring the legitimacy in Ahvaz Aref Al- Kaabi has
warned of eliminating the opposition by the Iranian regime via putting unjustly
names of opponents as suspects for the attack.
The Iranian Intelligence
has received orders from President Hassan Rouhani to take all necessary
measures against Ahvaz people, Kaabi told al Margea.
The authorities’
decision reflected that the Iranian Intelligence got involved in the attack to
find a pretext for eliminating the opposition of Ahvaz at home and abroad. he
continued. Minister of Foreign Affairs Javad Zarif said that they will trace
the involved people abroad.” Zarif’s comments were seen by the opposition as a
pretext for a crackdown, Kaabi said.
He warned the Iranian
Regime of targeting detained activists, adding “We call on all Arabs and
International and Arab institutions, including the Arab League, the Gulf
Cooperation Council, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to show
solidarity with the Ahvaz people to get their independence,” he said.
Groundless accusations:
Twenty-two people were
killed and hundred were injured when four assailants opened fire on a military
parade in the Iranian city of Ahvaz, Southwest Iran on Saturday. The attackers
were announced killed by the Iranian authorities.
Supreme Guide Ali
Khamenei accused Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the United State of standing behind
the attack.
“ We will fiercely
retaliated and revenge on our enemies. And they knew that very well,” said Head
of the IRGC Hossein Salami.
Most of Iranian Ahvaz
activists are living abroad, fleeing the regime crackdown. They were
accused by of spying for Arab and Western countries by Tehran. However, they
are calling for only their independence from Iran since 1925.
Tehran has summoned the
ambassadors of the Netherlands, Denmark and Britain after the parade attack,
accusing them of harboring “separatists” of Iranian Zhvan opponents, figures
and activists.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry
called on the European Union to list Ahvaz members and organizations as
terrorists, denouncing the absence of blacklisting them as long as they did not
commit attacks in Europe.
The Ahvaz National Resistance, an ethnic Arab
group in Iran and whose leaders live in European countries, announced its
responsibility for the attack.
