Global GeoNews editor says Erdogan poses danger to region
CAIRO – Managing Editor-in-Chief of the news site, Global GeoNews, Emmanuel Razavi, said today that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has close relations with the Muslim Brotherhood.
He added at a conference on Turkish interference in the
Middle East region and the threats this interference poses to regional and
world peace that Turkey had never been a democratic state under
Erdogan.
"Erdogan poses danger to the
region as a whole because of his links with the Brotherhood," Razavi said.
He added that the Muslim Brotherhood acted as a state
within the state in Egypt.
They tried, he said, to establish an Islamic caliphate in
Egypt by all means.
"Erdogan follows the same policy," Razavi said.
He said Erdogan is a week president and this has been
manifest in the last four years, given the rifts appearing within his country.
"These rifts are induced by his attempts to
infiltrate Europe and interfere in it," Razavi said.
