In the second part of this series, we review Erdogan's waste of the Turkish people's money for the sake of his well-being.

When the Justice and Development Party (AKP) came to power, then president Ahmet Necdet Sezer owned two cars remaining from the period of his previous rule, Süleyman Demirel.

Now, however, the presidency alone has 268 luxury cars. As for the planes, "Caesar" used to travel on board a "Gulf-4" plane belonging to the Turkish Air Force, which used to own two of this model, meaning that the Presidency of the Republic did not own private VIP aircraft.
Before the Justice and Development Party took office, in 2004 he wanted to buy a larger plane, and bought an Airbus A319 Corporate Jet with 40 seats for Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, after which the process of inflating the aircraft fleet, which reached 16 aircraft in addition to To 3 Skorsky helicopters, its operating expenses exceeded 38 million TL.
Erdogan's obsession with airplanes is similar to another obsession with luxury cars allocated to government agencies, which has become like a cancer spread in the corners of the state from the top of the pyramid of power to its foot, as the number of cars allocated to government agencies in Turkey reached 125,000 cars, in addition to 268 luxury cars designated for the Presidency of the Republic. .
Erdogan also ignored the economic crises of his country and proceeded to build luxurious palaces, whose cost is estimated at millions of dollars, including a luxurious palace he built directly on the banks of Lake Van, similar to the palace of the Anatolian Seljuk Sultan Alaeddin Kikbad I, and the site of its construction is according to the Turkish government announced It was built exactly at the place where the Seljuk Sultan Alp Arslan pitched his tent during his battle against the Byzantines in which he defeated them.
Turkish media reports stated that the budget of this palace is estimated at 14.4 million euros, while the budget announced before the start of the project did not exceed 3.4 million Euros, despite criticism of the opposition that succeeded in stopping construction in July 2019, by a decision by the Turkish Constitutional Court due to its impediment to the arrival People came to the shore and the area around the lake, but the Turkish regime circumvented the decision to change the law so that the ban imposed by the Supreme Court was eventually nullified.
