Arab Medical Union hails Egypt's initiative for Hepatitis C treatment

The Arab Medical Union on Sunday lauded an Egyptian
initiative launched earlier on the day to detect and treat the Hepatitis C and
chronic diseases, Dr. Osama Raslan, the union secretary-general said in a
statement.
Raslan added that that the Egyptian experience
represents an inspiring role model that should be followed by other world
countries.
The campaign reflects the Egyptian government's
determination to eliminate such diseases, he siad.
The union expressed its readiness for providing all
kinds of support for the initiative.
