PARIS – Renowned French writer Yves Thréard, who is the editor-in-chief of the French daily morning newspaper, Le Figaro, said Tuesday that France has been suffering from organized terrorism since 2012.
Terrorist attacks claimed the lives of over 200 people
since then, Thréard said.
He added that French President Emmanuel Macron tries
to overcome this problem through the proposed bill to prevent radicalism.
He said terrorism poses real threats to the French
society.
It also affects national security and the national
economy very negatively, Thréard said.
He said the proposed bill will fight Islamist
separatism.
It also translates rhetoric against this separatism
into real action on the ground, Thréard said.
