Rights groups ask Qatar to show respect to human rights
The Qatari regime keeps committing violations against migrant workers and opponents. Despite this, the same regime works to improve its image.
Nonetheless,
international human rights organizations and ex-prisoners in Qatari jails
divulge the phony nature of Qatari propaganda.
The same organizations
and ex-prisoners say the violations of the regime against the migrant workers
and political opponents never stop.
Maat report
The Qatari regime gives a
painful time to prisoners in its jails and fabricates charges against
opposition figures, according to a report by Maat Foundation for Peace.
It strips the children of
opposition figures of the Qatari citizenship.
The Qatari regime also
follows a policy of racial segregation, especially when it comes to the members
of opposition figures, Maat said in its report.
It added that the same regime
commits unending violations against migrant workers.
International calls
The violations of the Qatari
regime do not stop here. This is why international human rights groups are
denouncing this regime one after another. They called on it to suspend the
violations.
Amnesty International issued
a report on Nov. 18, in which it asked the Qatari government to initiate
reforms when it comes to migrant workers.
The organization also called
on the regime to bring employers who commit violations against migrant workers
to account and give these workers their rights in the light of international
laws.
