Trump responds to Twitter suspension, says he may build new site

After Twitter suspended his personal account, US
President Donald Trump said he may launch a new competing platform, and has
been "negotiating with various other sites."
Trump posted the comments in a series of tweets from
the presidential POTUS account - which is separate from his personal Donald J.
Trump account. Twitter removed the tweets shortly after.
Trump accused Twitter of colluding with the
"radical left" to silence him and those who voted for him.
The social media company had blocked him, citing a
risk of further incitement of violence, just two days after pro-Trump rioters
stormed the US Capitol Building, halting a joint session of Congress and
leading to the deaths of five people.
Trump, in several tweets, had riled up his
supporters with baseless allegations of election fraud and encouraged them to
march to the Capitol.
