Houthis rebuffed peaceful solutions

Yemeni forces, backed by Saudi Arabia-led Arab
coalition, launched at dawn of Wednesday an operation to liberate Yemen's main
port city of Hudaydah after Houthis rebuffed peaceful solutions, a military
source said.
A wide-scale ground operation, backed by the
coalition's fighter jets and warships, was launched towards Hudaydah city.
Locals said strong explosions were heard in the
suburbs of the city.
Hudaydah operation is considered the biggest of a
three-year war between the Arab coalition and Houthis.
The United Arab Emirates, a member of the
Western-backed alliance, set Tuesday as a deadline for the Houthis to withdraw
from the port, which is the main entry point for humanitarian aid into Yemen.
The alliance forces were very keen not to harm
civilians or target their houses in the Golden Victory operations.
