Meshri pulling out to open door for Brotherhood inside Libya's State Council

Chairman of the Supreme State Council in Libya Khaled al-Meshri said he would not run for a second term at the top of the council.
He
did this apparently to give the opportunity to a candidate of the Muslim
Brotherhood to succeed him, which throws some light on the plans of the
terrorist organization in Libya.
Meshri
posted a video in which he said he ran to become the head of the council a few
years ago, only with the aim of making some balances on the Libyan political
stage.
These
balances are present already in most of the lists competing for positions
within the council, he said.
He
added that he wants to give the opportunity for new politicians to take their
places on Libya's political stage.
Meshri
said he still has a lot of work within the council, including the formulation
of new laws that ease the electoral process in Libya.
He
advised those voting in the elections to select the candidates who would serve
the best interests of their country.
Meshri
has pulled out of the Supreme State Council elections only to give the chance
for those who would succeed him to move in the same track, observers said.
They
added that he also pulled out in order to prepare himself for the presidential
elections which are expected to take place in the coming period.
The
Libyans, the same observers said, now face the Muslim Brotherhood which has
been operating for 90 years now.
This movement has vas political experience, they added.
