Brotherhood channels exploit "Salman Al-Awda" to incite the international community

The Muslim Brotherhood’s channels have always sought
to exploit the case of the Saudi preacher, Salman al-Awda, in the international
community’s response to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, hoping for him to return
to defend the suspicious group.
Among the Brotherhood’s media mechanisms that
defended the issue of "Salman Al-Awda" was the holding of a
hypothetical conference, titled "Contemporary Reformers
Salman Al-Awda as a Model", organized by the
"Ark Al-Falk" Center in February 2021, with the participation of 34
Brotherhood figures from different countries, and the Tunisian President The
former Moncef Marzouki, who is closely related to the Brotherhood.
In Turkey and Qatar, the Brotherhood’s media
platforms, including Al-Sharq, Al-Jazeera, Arabi 21, and others ... have
launched a blistering attack on Saudi Arabia and the Arab regimes.
“Al-Sharq” journalist, Moataz Matar, claimed during
his program: “The bold accusations of the centrist preacher Salman Al-Awda, and
the main accusation that he is being tried because of it is refusing blood,
this is what a state is doing as if it were the land of Islam.”
"Al-Jazeera" channel published a report at
the "Human Rights Watch" organization, in which it said: "If you
look at the accusations against the return, you will find that it is clear that
they are politically motivated."
The Union of Muslim Scholars, headed by the
spiritual leader of the Brotherhood, Yusef Al-Qaradawi, also had a statement in
which he stated: “We categorically reject the return of terrorism by some
countries,” calling on those who described them as “sincere and thoughtful
leaders” to intervene to release him, accompanied by Musa Al-Sharif, And travel
Al-Hawali, and Nasser Al-Omar.
Salman al-Awda sought proximity to young people and
was the most accessible to their minds, sharing and interacting with them, so
it was not surprising that his personal account included 14 million “followers”
and
about 50 thousand “tweets”, during the period
from 2009 to 2017.
He also sought to gain a great incubator for his
ideas in the Arab world, not in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia alone, and the
virtual world of «Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snape Young» to serve his
sermons and conversations until his followers became thousands and millions of
each other, influenced by the beliefs of his teacher, Muhammad Surur Zain
Al-Abidin, The founder of the Sururiyya movement, who died in 2016 in Qatar).
The indictment issued by the Saudi Public
Prosecution which demanded the execution of "Al-Awda" in ta'zir, includes
"37" charges - according to the Saudi newspaper "Okaz" - on
top of which are his involvement in suspicious relations, visits and contacts
with the former Emir of Qatar and the former Libyan regime, and his joining the
Brotherhood, which is classified as "terrorist" His interference in
Egypt's internal affairs and his incitement to push the kingdom into internal
revolutions, as well as his joining religious scholarly gatherings and unions
contrary to the approach of the most respected scholars, based on foundations
aimed at destabilizing security in the country and the homeland, and his
affiliation with the name of "Assistant Secretary" under the
leadership of one of the classified List of terrorism "Yusuf
al-Qaradawi," who holds the position of Secretary of the International
Union of Muslim Scholars classified as a terrorist entity.
"Al-Awda" supervised the "Renaissance
Forum" and helped finance and publishes it in the Arab world. According to
the indictment against him, he used that organization to incite revolutions
against Arab regimes in agreement with the Brotherhood and its branches in the
countries of the region.
According to the Saudi media, the "Renaissance
Forum" was established about 8 years ago in 2010, with Qatari funds, and
marketing for it began as a Gulf intellectual youth forum, held periodically
every year, under the supervision of Salman Al-Odah, and the management of a
professor of interpretation at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals
Mustafa al-Hassan, who is affiliated with the Brotherhood movement.
“Al-Awda” became a major symbol for the leaders and
members of the Brotherhood in the entire Arab world, and even for the
organization of the group in the world, after it was keen on the “advocacy”
approach that this trend took, in order to reach its goals through educational
sessions, educational activities, and social gatherings.
Nayef Al-Asaker, a researcher on extremist groups'
affairs, said that "Salman Al-Awda" moved from the path of Al-Saroori
to the path of the Brotherhood, indicating that when he permitted some of what
he saw as denounced by his glory and directed by watching populist channels.
"Al-Asaker" explained during an interview
on "Al-Arabiya News" that they were the cause of making Salman
Al-Awda, describing him as an open man, indicating that the Brotherhood
infiltrated European countries and the world in a very terrible way, because
those countries used to use them as a means of chaos in the East. Middle.
