UAE minister meets UN envoy to Yemen

Dr. Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, on
Thursday, met with Martin Griffiths, UN Special Envoy for Yemen, and stressed
the need to resume political consultations and the importance of a political
solution to spare Yemeni people more suffering.
During the meeting, Dr. Gargash reiterated UAE's support for the
efforts exerted by the UN special envoy to restore security and stability in
Yemen, and for political solution there.
According UAE news agency, WAM, the meeting touched on the
humanitarian situation in Yemen, finding a way out of the difficult living
conditions, and looking for solutions to the deteriorating economic conditions
suffered by Yemeni citizens.
