Turkish General Staff: 3 PKK members killed in airstrike in northern Iraq

Three members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) were killed in an airstrike launched by Turkish warplanes in northern Iraq, Turkey's General Staff announced.

The raid was carried out in collaboration with the Turkish intelligence service, the Turkish General Staff said in a statement carried by the Iraqi Al Ekhbariya TV channel.

The three PKK members were planning to wage an attack on Turkish border posts, the statement added.
