Far right using social media in raising funds

Far-right groups work hard to find ways to bankroll their activities, using loopholes in the law in their different countries.
This
financing is extremely important, especially with these groups asking their
members to buy special clothes and accessories that reflect their own ideology
and beliefs.
The
members of far-right groups buy these clothes and accessories from stores owned
by the groups themselves.
These
groups finance their activities from the sale of these items. They also raise
funds by forcing their members to pay a regular subscription fee as well as
donations.
According
to Site Intelligence Group, far-right organizations commit their members to
buying the required clothes and accessories from the shops these organizations
own.
The
same organizations use funds generated from these sales in expanding their
activities and drawing in new members.
The
research center, Soufan Group, said in a research paper dated September 2019
that far-right organizations raise funds by selling shirts and clothes via
specific internet sites with the aim of guaranteeing the necessary income.
Social
media
The
group said social media gives far-right organizations the chance to raise
funds.
It
added that these organizations use social media sites in raising funds from
their members and the selling of clothes.
The
group noted that donations are an important source of income for these
organizations which utilize social media in collecting these donations.
