Haniyya receives 300 million from the emir of Qatar

Jewish journalist Edy Cohen
revealed in a tweet published on his Tweeter page that the chairman of the
political bureau of the Hamas movement Ismail Haniyeh had touched $ 300 million
from the office of Emir Tamim of Qatar in the presence of the Iranian ambassador
and a Turkish official.
The Gaza Strip has witnessed a
serious military escalation between Palestinian resistance and the occupation
army since last Monday evening, following constant attacks against
Palestinians, and the eviction of residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in
occupied Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Ministry of
Health announced Thursday evening that the number of victims in the Gaza Strip
following the Israeli aggression stood at 103, including 27 children and 11
women, and that the number of people with various injuries was over 580.
On the other hand, the Israeli
media claimed that missiles were fired from southern Lebanon towards northern
occupied Palestine.
Egyptian Foreign Minister
SamehChoukri also had a telephone talk on Thursday with his French counterpart
Jean-Yves Le Drian, to discuss developments in recent days in Jerusalem and at
the al-Aqsa Mosque, in addition to developments in the Strip. of Gaza, and
Choukri affirmed the importance of ending the Israeli aggression against Gaza,
and the bloodshed, through an immediate and complete ceasefire, to allow
political efforts and a final settlement of the Palestinian question.
On the other hand, the Egyptian
Minister of Foreign Affairs had a meeting with his Irish counterpart, during
which the two ministers discussed the developments of the crisis, and the
efforts of the UN Security Council, assuming its responsibility. in the
maintenance of world peace, given that Ireland is a member of the Security
Council, which is preparing to hold its third meeting tomorrow Friday to
address the current crisis and the means to emerge from it.
For his part, US Secretary of
State Antony Blinken said of the latest developments between the Palestinians
and Israel that the only thing we can do is press to limit the escalation.
The Wall Street Journal explained
on its website that US President Joe Biden and senior national security
advisers have avoided playing any significant official role or siding with
either side in this crisis, which was sparked by a series of conflicts over
Jerusalem in recent days.
The newspaper said it had spoken
to the Israeli prime minister and expected the violence to end soon.
As for German Foreign Minister
Heiko Maas, he affirmed the need to stop the escalation between Palestinians
and Israel by demanding respect for international humanitarian law and an end
to the launching of missiles.
