Yemeni leader: Houthis have cloned the idea of drug trafficking from Hezbollah

Nizar Haitham, leader of the Yemeni Southern Transitional
Council, said: "The south of Yemen has been suffering for many years from
the growing of drug trade. Revealing that the Houthi group has reproduced the
drug trade experience of the Lebanese Hezbollah militia and elements of
terrorism in Afghanistan.
Haitham said in a statement to El-Marga'a that the Arab
alliance has contributed significantly to the elimination of the drug trade in
Yemen. Recently, the coalition supervised the extensive Yemeni security
campaigns launched on the sources of suppliers and drug trafficking.
He pointed out that the Arab alliance succeeded during the
last period in destructing a large amount of drugs tried by the Houthis
to enter through the border areas, explaining that this was supported by
security forces and the military in all southern provinces.
It is noteworthy that during the early hours of Wednesday
morning, the Yemeni news agency «Sabaa», confirmed that the security services
in the province of Mahrah, located in the far east of Yemen, was able to thwart
