Abdel Aal takes part in Geneva-based counter-terrorism meeting

Speaker of Egyptian Parliament Ali Abdel Aal on
Sunday participated in a meeting of a high-level counter-terrorism working
group of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
This came within the framework of Abdel Aal
participation in the meetings of the 139th assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary
Union.
The participants in the meeting called for
addressing the root causes of terrorism through fighting extremist thoughts.
They further pressed for amending international laws
on terrorism to help fight this scourge.
They also agreed to convene again next February in
the Swiss capital Bern.
