20 Houthis killed in ambush near Saudi borders

Twenty Houthi militants, including a leader, were
killed in an ambush that was set up by the joint Saudi forces near the Saudi
borders in Yemen, Al Arabiya news channel reported on Friday.
The Saudi forces, backed by Apache helicopters and
the Arab coalition warplanes, targeted the Houthi brigade by mortar shells and
artillery, and destroyed their reinforcements and supplies, according to Yemeni
sources.
Separately, Yemeni army spokesman Brigadier Abdo
Majali said that the national forces are currently in control of Baqem and
Kitaf directorates in the northern Yemeni Saada province, the US-funded Radio
Sawa reported.
Also, the Houthi militias launched a ballistic
missile against military posts that are affiliated to the Yemeni army near
Najran province on the Saudi-Yemeni borders, local sources said.
The missile left casualties and losses, sources
added.
