The First Day Events of the International Conference on the Role of Public Prosecution Authorities in Combating Transnational Crimes
Today, Sunday the 7th of
November, 2021, the New Administrative Capital in Cairo, witnessed the first
day events of the International Conference on the Role of Public Prosecution
Authorities in Combating Transnational Crimes held under the auspices of His Excellency
Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The events were
chaired by the Egyptian Public Prosecution, the President of Africa Prosecutors
Association (APA) and the Arab Association for Prosecutors (AAP), was held in
collaboration with the International Organization of Migration (IOM) and the
Counter-Terrorism in the Middle East and North Africa Project (CT Mena) and
Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (Nauss).
The first meeting was held for
the National Focal Points of the Arab Association for Prosecutors (AAP), under
the moderation of the Head of the International Cooperation and Human Rights
Departments of the Egyptian Public Prosecution, to discuss the preparations for
the Annual General Meeting of the Arab Association for Prosecutors, enhancing
collaboration between the Arab Association for Prosecutors’ Focal points, and
the future cooperation with the Counter-Terrorism in The Middle East and North
Africa Project (CT MENA) & NAIF Arab University for Security Sciences
