The Muslim Brotherhood presence in Russia

The Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe (FIOE), publishes on Sunday, several photos document Meetings of the eleventh session of the official institution of the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe.

The pictures, which included the heads of the Federation's branches in 27 countries, revealed the presence of Wisam Bardvil, president of the Federation of Islamic Organizations of Russia, as a representative of the branch of the organization in the Russian Federation.

It is noteworthy that FIOE held yesterday a number of meetings of the Council of organizations in 27 countries, to discuss the new plan adopted during the period from 2018 to 2022, in addition to identify projects and activities which will be carried out by each branch and the adoption of some administrative regulations.

Russia is one of the first countries to list the Muslim Brotherhood on the list of terrorist organizations since 2003, and accordingly it considers the organizations belonging to members of the Muslim Brotherhood within the terrorist group.

The international organization recently created a branch in the country, through Wisam Bardvil, which was Formerly director of the religious administration of the Muslims of Karelia.

In 2016 Bardvil traveled to France to receive training courses at the FIOE, returning one year later to Russia, and announcing the establishment of the Federation of Organizations (the Russian branch), which was revealed by the successive E-publications of the members of the group.
