42 Taliban insurgents killed in ANSF operations

The 201 Selab Military Corps in eastern Nangarhar
claim that at least 42 armed Taliban insurgents were killed during Afghan
national security forces (ANSF) operations, TOLO News reported.
The military corps said Tuesday in a statement that
during the operation 40 other Taliban were also wounded.
The operations were conducted in Nangarhar, Kunar,
Nuristan provinces and Surobi district of Kabul province.
During the operation, weapons and explosives were
also seized from Taliban militants, the statement said.
Taliban did not confirm the causalities.
