King Salamn: Khashoggi’s killing has nothing to do with Arabia principles

King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia made a telephone call Thursday to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, where they discussed boosting relations between the two countries in all fields, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The monarch also briefed the German Chancellor on the latest developments regarding investigations into the killing of Saudi national Jamal Khashoggi, and confirmed that what was done by those involved in this crime did not represent the principles and values of the Kingdom, stressing that justice would take its course fully and resolutely and that whoever found guilty would receive deterrent punishment.

Merkel expressed hope that the ongoing investigations would uncover all the circumstances of this incident.
