Iraqi military operation to pursue Daesh in northeastern Diyala

Iraqi joint security forces launched a military
operation on Sunday to track down Daesh cells in northeastern Diyala.
An Iraqi security source told Iraqi News channel
that the operation aimed at cleansing these areas of terrorists.
Northeastern Diyala is one of the hot areas which
witnesses sporadic security violations as terrorists hide there due to its
complicated geographic nature.
