PLO calls on ICC to immediately investigate Israeli crime of killing 3 Gaza children

The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) has
called on the International Criminal Court (ICC) to immediately investigate the
horrific crime committed by the Israeli occupation forces against three
children from the Gaza Strip last night, according to Palestine News Network.
Member of the PLO executive committee and head of
the human rights and civil committee in the organization, Ahmed Tamimi, said in
a statement issued on Monday that the international community and its
international institutions must break their silence towards the ongoing crimes
committed by the occupation army using American weapons and cover.
“The targeting of children was intentional and
deliberate, and they were targeted by the crew who ran the aircraft with high
technological capabilities, in violation of international conventions on the
protection of children in armed conflict,” Tamimi said.
“This proves the falsehood of the occupation that
allegedly targeted a group that was laying mines on the border of the Gaza
Strip.”
Tamimi pointed out that these facts on this crime
leave no justification or excuse for anyone to remain silent on the crimes of
the occupation, and silence on this is the participation and cover of the
criminal occupation to continue massacres against the Palestinians.
It is noteworthy that the crime of the occupation
led to the death of children: Khaled Bassam Saeed (13 years), Abdul Hamid Abu
Zaher (13 years), and Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Sattari (13 years), all of Wadi
Salqa.
