Military expert: Sinai 2018 uprooted terror hotbeds

Cairo, 15 April 2018 – Military expert Reda Yaacoub said the Sinai 2018 comprehensive
operation contained terrorism to a large degree as it uprooted funding and
killed Daesh takfiris.
"The armed forces killed large numbers of takfiris and detained
many others. Prior to the operation, the army demolished all tunnels and
isolated the takfiri groups, barring them from funding resources," Yaccoub
told THE REFERENCE.
