Bahraini forces foil attempt to smuggle six wanted fugitives

Bahraini security authorities have foiled an attempt
to smuggle six fugitives wanted on terrorism charges, Bahrain News Agency (BNA)
reported.
Investigations revealed that one of the arrested was
in contact with a fugitive in Iran who arranged the operation.
BNA noted that the investigations also led to
identifying and arresting some individuals suspected of sheltering and
assisting the fugitives.
The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation
and Forensic Science has taken legal proceedings to refer the arrested to
prosecution.
Investigations are underway to know the
circumstances of the operation and those involved in the case.
