The Yemeni army, backed by the Arab coalition, has
fully controlled the southern entrance of Al Hudaydah along the western coast
of the country, sources were quoted by Sky News Arabia as saying.
The move came despite Houthi reinforcements to the
rebels stranded in the governorate, said the sources, adding that battles are
continuing between the rebels and the national army.
Meantime, raids by Saudi-led coalition warplanes
were launched targeting a Houthi site in Qanawes district in northern Hudaydah,
according to the sources.
