Iraqi PM stresses importance of int'l support to his country

Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi
Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi stressed the
importance of international support to his country especially after Iraq fully
succeeded in achieving victory over terrorism.
Such support is important for Iraq during the coming
period after it uprooted terrorism and began the reconstruction process as well
as investment, the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) quoted Abdul-Mahdi as
saying during his meeting with the head of the United Nations (UN) mission in
Iraq Jan Kubis.
Kubis voiced the support of the UN to the Arab
country and its government under Abdul-Mahdi, pointing out to the ongoing
coordination with the international community to help in reconstructing Iraq.
