Egyptian, Bahraini youth ministers tour City of Youth and Sports in Sharm
Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhy and his
Bahraini counterpart Hisham al Jowder toured on Wednesday the City of Youth and
Sports in Sharm El Sheikh after participating in the World Youth Forum that was
concluded on Tuesday under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The ministers visited the covered hall, football
fields, tennis courts, the Olympic swimming pools, the squash courts, the gyms
and the water station in the city.
They also visited a project for establishing a track
for camel racing on 1000 feddans in Sharm el Sheikh, which will also include an
equestrian club and areas designated for bike and automobile races.
Jowder lauded the city and the level of the youth
and sports facilities in Egypt.
He praised the Egyptian-Bahraini ties in the fields
of youth and sports along with the joint projects and programs and the exchange
of expertise and cultures between both countries. (MENA)
