The Egyptian Parliament Speaker hails Alzhar efforts to develop its curricula

Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal hailed Azhar's
non-stop efforts to develop its curricula to cope with the age.
He made the remarks during a ceremony held on
Thursday to honor top Azharite students of 2017-2018 Thanawya Amma.
He underlined President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's
interest in developing education and scientific research.
He said Azhar - as a beacon of moderate Islam - is a
key player in fighting extremist and terrorist thought.
Meanwhile, Grand Imam of Azhar Ahmed el Tayyeb
underlined that the study at Azhar depends on the culture of dialogue and
accepting the Other away from any extremism.
