Egypt hosts 8th conf. of Arab Federation of Textile Workers Saturday

Minister of Manpower Mohamed Saafan will inaugurate
on Saturday the 8th conference of the Arab Federation of Textile Workers.
Twelve Arab countries will take part in the
conference entitled “The spinning and weaving industry between aspirations and
reality”.
In statements, head of the federation and chairman
of the Egyptian General Union of Spinning and Weaving Workers Abdel Fattah
Ibrahim said the event will address issues related to the development of the
spinning and weaving industry and crises and challenges the sector and its
workers have faced over the past few years.
The two-day event will witness activating a protocol
inked with 6 syndicates of the Egyptian Trade Union Federation (ETUF), he pointed
out.
